Muestra fotografica - memoria y olvido / Photography exhibition - memory and oblivion

Entre Junio y Julio tuve la oportunidad de poder participar en un increíble parasistema que viajo a través de la memoria y el olvido, gracias a los amigos de labo ciudadano.

Labo ciudadano es un grupo de activistas que genera acción, tejido y contenido en torno a resistencia noviolenta, derechos humanos e innovación política.

En este parasistema se viajo y exploro la memoria y el olvido, desde muchos puntos de vista, la comida, el recuerdo, la memoria, el teatro, el sonido, las palabras, la ciudad, la fotografía entre otras sensaciones.

Logre participar en un parasistema exquisito dirigida por mi maestra y amiga Freisy González una fotógrafa y antropóloga venezolana con gran trayectoria en el país. Freisy nos sumergió a las profundidades de lo desconocido, explorando, hurgando y volviendo atrás todos nuestros recuerdos a través de la antropología y la fotografía.

En esta búsqueda o exploración que cada uno vivió, en este gran parto que vivimos en colectivo, pude crear, mostrar, retener memorias de mi pasado, un pasado que viví y a veces me gusta olvidar, pero que esta allí como una huella imborrable, en esta muestra me desnude, me expuse y me mostré vulnerable, pero en ese proceso encontré amor, apoyo, cobijo.

En este trabajo fotográfico salí un poco de mi zona de confort y pude trabajar con archivos familiares, algo que jamás había hecho. Gracias a esta exploración logre crear esta pieza titula "En estos recuerdos no hay vuelta atrás" un viaje que va desde mis recuerdos de la infancia a mi adolescencia, llevado a través de mi depresor el alcohol, acompañado de mi padre.

Between June and July I had the opportunity to participate in an incredible parasystem that traveled through memory and oblivion, thanks to the friends of labo ciudadano.

Labo ciudadano is a group of activists that generates action, fabric and content around nonviolent resistance, human rights and political innovation.

In this parasystem we traveled and explored memory and oblivion, from many points of view, food, memory, memory, theater, sound, words, the city, photography and other sensations.

I managed to participate in an exquisite parasystem directed by my teacher and friend Freisy Gonzalez, a Venezuelan photographer and anthropologist with a great trajectory in the country. Freisy plunged us into the depths of the unknown, exploring, rummaging and retracing all our memories through anthropology and photography.

In this search or exploration that each one lived, in this great birth that we lived collectively, I could create, show, retain memories of my past, a past that I lived and sometimes I like to forget, but that is there as an indelible imprint, in this sample I undressed, I exposed myself and I showed myself vulnerable, but in this process I found love, support, shelter.

In this photographic work I went out of my comfort zone and I was able to work with family archives, something I had never done before. Thanks to this exploration I was able to create this piece titled "In these memories there is no turning back" a journey that goes from my memories to my own.
