Muy buenas noches queridos amigos amantes de los Miercoles de Caminata!

En mi últma visita a la ciudad de Buenos Aires pude disfrutar de algo que llevaba un tiempo sin hacerlo; caminar sus calles de noche. Si bien la vida en ciudades tan grandes no es de mi agrado por el ritmo que implica ese estilo de vida, debo confesar que nuestra ciudad Capital esta muy linda, en especial de noche donde la iluminación de los edificios ofrece postales maravillosas

El día previo a Labitconf lo tuve libre por lo que aproveche para hacer algo de turismo con mi hermano menor que vive por aquellas latitudes.

Después de caminar toda la tarde por la Avenida 9 de Julio, de pasear por Puerto Madero, por la Costanera decidimos ir en busca de algùn resto para sentarnos a comer unas pizzas en calle Corrientes.

Para ir llegar a la famosa calle Corrientes pasamos frente al Centro Cultural Kirchner, cede del antiguo Correo cuyo edificio fue restaurado y puesto en valor. Ver tamaña obra arquitectónica me impacto, no solo por su belleza, sino también por su dimensión. El efecto de las luces azules hace que su majestuosidad resalte aún más. También me llamó mucho la atención la gran estatua de Juana Azurduy que se encuentra frente a la fachada.

Muy cerquita de allí se situa la Plaza de Mayo, uno de los puntos geográficos más importantes del país ya que a su alrededor se situan la Casa Rosada (Casa de Gobierno Nacional), La Catedral, El Cabildo y muchos edificios con una arquitectura digna de admirar.

El Cabildo es uno de los edificios con mayor historia de nuestro país ya que allí se constituyó el primer gobierno patrio allá por el año 1810. Si bien es más pequeño que la construcción original fue restaurado y quedó en magníficas condiciones edilicias y en ocasiones suelen hacerse visitas guiadas a su interior. Quienes lo han visitado han relatado que estar en su interior es un verdadero viaje en el tiempo.

Como le scomentaba con anterioridad Buenos Aires es una ciudad que no duerme, que no descansa y si bien allí se encuentran las mayores oportunidades laborales y tienen gran oferta de actividades culturales y de cualquier otro índole nunca la elegiría para vivir, ya que en mi vida priorizo otras cosas. Ahora si de hacer turismo se trata creo que no hay ciudad en el país con tanta infraestructura, con tanta riqueza y diversidad arquitectónica que la transforma en una ciudad diferente, y seguramente por ello muchos turistas la eligen para visitarla.

Good evening dear friends who love Walking Wednesdays!

In my last visit to the city of Buenos Aires I was able to enjoy something I had not done for a while; walking its streets at night. Although life in such big cities is not to my liking because of the rhythm that this lifestyle implies, I must confess that our capital city is very beautiful, especially at night where the illumination of the buildings offers wonderful postcards.

I had the day before Labitconf free so I took the opportunity to do some sightseeing with my younger brother who lives in those latitudes.

After walking all afternoon along Avenida 9 de Julio, strolling through Puerto Madero, along the Costanera we decided to go in search of some rest to sit and eat some pizzas in Corrientes street.

To get to the famous Corrientes street we passed in front of the Kirchner Cultural Center, the site of the old post office whose building was restored and put in value. Seeing such a huge architectural work struck me, not only for its beauty, but also for its size. The effect of the blue lights makes its majesty stand out even more. The large statue of Juana Azurduy in front of the façade also caught my attention.

Very close by is the Plaza de Mayo, one of the most important geographical points of the country because around it are located the Casa Rosada (National Government House), the Cathedral, the Cabildo and many buildings with an architecture worthy of admiration.

The Cabildo is one of the buildings with the greatest history of our country since the first patriotic government was constituted there in 1810. Although it is smaller than the original construction, it was restored and was left in magnificent building conditions and sometimes there are guided tours inside.Those who have visited it have said that being inside is a real trip back in time.

As I mentioned before, Buenos Aires is a city that never sleeps, never rests and although there are the best job opportunities and there is a great offer of cultural activities and any other kind of activities I would never choose it to live, since I prioritize other things in my life. Now if it comes to tourism I think there is no city in the country with so much infrastructure, with so much architectural richness and diversity that transforms it into a different city, and surely that is why many tourists choose to visit it.
