The treasurer is done for.

I assassinated the Treasurer and entered the Memory Corridor, where Basim claimed his blood feather as mirror reflection vanished. After using Assassin's Focus to clear the guards, I traversed the bazaar to report to Roshan where Basim lied about his vision of the genie.

The way the treasurer was talking and Basim was listening to her, I was forced to guess Basim was about to take her life and maybe dig deeper.

Suddenly her face expression changed as she understood Basim was ready to take her down and I just knew she was about to do something.

She turned furiously in trying to attack Basim but Basim was so ready that he blocked her attack in a glimpse and put his hidden blade through her neck and ended her journey there.

After getting into the Memory Corridor, I noticed the mirror versions of them, while the treasurer spilled out her last words before dying to prove her innocence as her voice echoed through the fractured, shifting dark space.

As the treasurer died for real, Basim put the feather, wiped with her blood, and then he saw the mirror version of him vanish dead in front of him, watching the spectral reflection splinter into thousands of tiny shards.

Then Basim stood up as the environment changed, and he was waiting for the genie to appear, but this time Basim looked a lot more confident and less scared.

Now that I took care of the treasurer, I had to take care of her guards as well, who were waiting for me on the other side, and I used Assassin's Focus to take them down quietly.

I didn't have enough focus to break all of them down at once, so I had to take care of the rest after I was done with most of them. And it looked like the floor was filled with dead soldiers.

Now that I had to get to Roshan and Rebekah, I started escaping the bazaar on aerial routes because I didn't want to go into more fights.

I fast traveled to get to Rebekah and Roshan. And Basim told them about the progress after getting inside the safety of the hidden bureau to report his success.

It looked like Basim was tired of everything, so Roshan asked if he saw the genie, but Basim told a lie, mentioning it is gone. It seemed like he tried to keep the unsettling truth of his ongoing nightmares entirely to himself.

Then Roshan asked him to rest while he can, as their work is not done yet. And then Basim went ahead to take some rest.
Until next time, happy gaming.

That hidden blade kill was so quick and clean. I noticed Basim looked much calmer waiting for the perfect time to attack.
Well, I almost thought he was not going for the assassination.
Thanks, means a lot.
Noticing Basim's growing confidence when waiting for the genie showed excellent character progression. He stood his ground against the genie this time like he finally unlocked his full main-character energy.
Yeah, you observed well.
The guards outside thought they were safe until you turned on Assassin's Focus and cleared the room. Well done there.
This focus is a cool ability to use so every time I get a chance, I use it.
