The Satiric Poet.
I infiltrated the Khurasan Gate Guardhouse after Dervis warned that Ali had been taken. I scouted with Enkidu, assassinated guards, recovered prisoner records showing Ali was moved to Damascus Gate Prison, then reported back to Roshan and Fuladh.
I tried a contract, which is like a side quest, and in this one, I had to escort a Satiric Poet to safety who had insulted a powerful courtier.
I had to use Enkidu's help to locate the poet, who was waiting for me in an alley.
I was escorting the poet, but he suddenly stopped seeing his nephew being tortured on our way. He was scared of getting ahead till I saved his nephew.
I had to save the poet, along with clearing the area by taking down all the enemies there, so the poet could escape safely.
I distracted the guard to a hiding zone who was abusing the nephew, and I assassinated him and hid the body. The nephew escaped, but the civilians around started screaming.
Another guard came over to check around, hearing the screaming, but he didn't find the dead body, as I hid it. And I assassinated this guard as well/
There were archers on some roofs, and I was all into stealth at that moment, so I tried the path behind to take one of the archers down in silence.
There were two more left. I assassinated one in plain sight and tried air assassination on the other one.
Our journey continued till we noticed more soldiers, whom the poet believed were sent to hunt him down, so I had to hunt the soldiers down for his safety.
I assassinated one of the soldiers who was resting around, and then I had to wait for the right moment to go for the two who were moving together. When I put my hidden blade through the last one's skull, the previous one was still falling to the ground.
I escorted the poet to safety at last, and he thanked me, along with rewarding me with some valuables for my service. I should try more contracts to earn the valuables as I'd need them in the long run.
Until next time, happy gaming.
Forgive my ignorance, but what video game is this? I really like the setting. It's like travelling back in time, and the graphics are very detailed. My forte is classic 2D games, games like this make me dizzy, haha. Plus, I don't like killing so much! Congratulations on getting the poet safely to his destination. 🙌
It's totally fine.
It's Assassin's Creed Mirage. And yeah, the concept is about traveling back in time and look back at some precious memories. It's graphics is really great and its music is also great, along with the story.
And you know what? I like killing in video games a lot, hahaha.
Killing in video games is good as long as you only do it there. 🤣
I know the existence of the Assassin's Creed saga and I didn't imagine it with that level of historical recreation, very good.
Haha true, better to keep all the chaos inside the game. AC does a great job with history, that is one of the reasons I enjoy it.
This contract sounded like a proper stealth mission. I loved how you handled every encounter with patience. Escort missions can get tense fast, but you managed it smoothly and with style.
Happy to hear that. I enjoy slow gameplay when the mission allows it.
The stealth gameplay here sounds cool, I loved reading it. Taking down the soldiers quietly really shows your skill especially those air assassinations look dope.
Thanks, I always try to stay silent before things go loud. There is something fun about clearing an area without anyone noticing.

The air assassination was slick, these move never gets old. I also try it whenever I can in my game. The way you took down those archers first was a smart move, I'd also try that first.
Looking forward to your next contract.
Air assassinations are forever satisfying and clearing the archers first is just good survival instinct for me.
Escorting the poet while clearing the area looks like a tough but fun challenge. The final moments with the poet thanking you made the whole mission feel rewarding.
It was a fun escort mission and did not feel pointless thanks to that ending moment.
