The Price of Freedom.
I stole the laborers' deed, triggered a distraction, and fought through rooftop guards to keep the alarm silent. Once the chaos drew Al-Ghul out, I patiently dismantled his protection before preparing my final leap toward him.

I located the specific man I had been searching for, the one responsible for trafficking laborers to Al-Ghul. Since I refused to pay for their freedom, he grew arrogant and dismissed me entirely, turning his back to walk away as if I were no threat at all.

I moved in silence behind him to pickpocket the deed from his belt. With the deed now in my possession, the legal bond holding those men to the desert was severed, and I had exactly what I needed to spark a distraction that would force Al-Ghul out of hiding.

As I made my way back toward the laborers to deliver the good news, a palace soldier caught a glimpse of me. He drew his sword and initiated a fight immediately, forcing me to defend myself in the middle of the courtyard.

The situation escalated when a second soldier spotted me fighting one of them. Instead of joining the fight, he turned and sprinted toward a nearby roof, aiming to ring the alarm bell and alert the entire palace to my presence.

I chased and got him him just as he reached the bell. I engaged in a high-speed battle on the rooftops, taking him and several other arriving guards down to ensure the alarm remained silent.

After clearing the threat, I reached the laborers and informed them they were finally free to go. As they began their exodus, I knew the resulting chaos would be enough to draw Al-Ghul out.

I quickly scaled the side of the main building and reached a high rooftop, perching on the edge to stare down at the balcony where I expected my target to appear.

Al-Ghul finally came out of his safe zone, clearly agitated by the disruption in his labor force. However, reaching him was going to be a challenge as he wasn't alone.
A group of regular guards and his elite personal bodyguards were swarming around.

I had to be incredibly careful as I began thinning out his protection. I moved upper ledges, taking the guards down one by one. Each takedown had to be perfectly timed.

I climbed to the very highest point of the palace roof to deal with the final soldiers guarding the path directly above Al-Ghul. These last few guards were the most alert, but I managed to drop them silently.

With the area finally clear of immediate threats, I moved to the edge of the beam, looking straight down at the man who had caused so much suffering.

I jumped from there, a true leap of faith aimed directly at my target. This was part of an absolute cinema there.
Until next time, happy gaming.
