Stealth and Slip-Ups at the Palace.
Last time, I took a leap of faith from the palace heights and enjoyed a quiet moment watching Enkidu fly above the town. I ended up sneaking into a nearby training area where I put my stealth skills to the test.
Using the haystack and grass for cover, I whistled the guards over one by one and cleared the entire yard without triggering an alarm. It was a nice change of pace to have a perfectly silent infiltration.

After I cleared the training grounds, I moved forward and spotted two guards who were busy gossiping. They seemed completely distracted, which gave me the perfect opportunity to plan my next move without being immediately noticed.

I decided to split them up. I whistled to draw the attention of one guard, leading him away from his post. While he was investigating the noise, I circled around to the other side and assassinated the second guard swiftly and silently.

I went back to finish off the guard I had distracted, but things took a turn for the worse. He managed to detect me at the last second and shouted for reinforcements. I grew frustrated with the slip-up and took him down mercilessly before his allies could arrive.

His cries didn't go unheard. About five more guards rushed to the scene after hearing the call. Since my cover was blown, I had to engage all of them in a brutal melee figh.

I tried to stop wasting time and attempted stealth for the remaining guards. Unfortunately, my luck ran out; I was overwhelmed and taken down, which was a disappointing end to that run.

When I respawned, it was already nighttime. I performed a Leap of Faith into the palace grounds and began hunting the guards patrolling the high walls. The darkness provided much better cover for my work.

I decided to play more aggressively and started running directly toward the guards. In a cinematic way, I charged at a pair of soldiers while another pair stood right beside them, watching me approach at full speed.

I had to fight both pairs of guards at the same time. It was a chaotic encounter, but I managed to overpower all four of them and stood victorious over the group.

I moved on to the next group, but the alarm was raised again. While I was engaged in combat, one of the soldiers started blowing a horn to alert every guard in the vicinity.
Until next time, happy gaming.
