Infiltrating the Winter Palace.

I slipped through the harbor, stole a ledger, and met Roshan of the Hidden Ones, though she dismissed Basim. Later, a street kid named Jasib hinted at a black chest the guards carried to the palace.

Basim decided to get the chest for the hidden ones so they understand his potential. Nehal knew there's no getting through to him so she decided to do it together cause Basim may get killed there if he goes alone without a safe passage.

Basim suggested Nehal to not join him and Nehal knew it was a utterly foolish job but as she can't stop him, so she'd go with and nag him until he decides to abandon the idea.

Then I started following her towards the Winter Palace, and look at that lady looking at me.

We reached the entrance which was heavily guarded, so Nehal took me to a different passage which would be safe and we waited there till nightfall. Basim still said they could try the front gate and then Nehal left him and went ahead.

Nehal knows a safe way in so I could either follow her or look for another entrance. I guessed it'd be clever to follow her so I started following him where we had to crouch through flower plants to stay out of guards sights.

The restriction area was full of guards but we had to keep moving and we dodged the sights of a lot of guards on our way. Then we reached the gate where we should've found the chest but it was locked, and I needed a key to open the gate.

I found who had the key but there were other guards who were walking around and guarding the place. When I was getting out of the other guards sights, the guard who had the key went to another place and I had to look for him.

After knocking him down in cold blood, I collected the key and had to be super sneaky while getting back to the door. And then I opened the door.

We noticed some soldiers were talking about the Caliph and his unruly son. Basim and Nehal did the sneaky part there on their own. I was hoping they wouldn't get caught.

They reached a place from where they could see the Caliph asking his son to leave with all others and then there came some masked men.

The masked men did sound powerful and they ordered the Caliph to keep their item safe and without touch. Even the Caliph wasn't allowed to see what's inside the chest.

When all of them left the chest in that room and went away, Basim and Nehal went there and Basim broke the lock of the chest and found a strange thing that showed something strange.

Before Basim could understand what has seeing, the Caliph came over and started attacking him. As Nehal understood Basim would be killed, she stabbed a knife in the Caliph's throat.

The last thing Nehal said was, "RUN" and then she escaped alone. All the guards of the palace got news of me killing the Caliph and they set blockade on the ways, I had to escape the palace now. And Basim didn't forget to pick the strange thing up.
