The Karkh Bureau.
Basim met Nehal at the Abbasiyah Bureau and reported his success to Tabid. I traveled toward the Karkh Bureau by boat and foot, taking down soldiers along the way to gather supplies. After meeting Roshan and Rebekah, I upgraded my gear and headed to the market to check on Karkh.

After taking care of the last masked one, I had to visit the Abbasiyah Bureau to check in. I navigated through the busy town and eventually found the secret place where Nehal was waiting for Basim.

Basim looked very surprised to see Nehal there in the hidden spot. Nehal started talking in a very emotional way about their past and the dangers they were facing.
Basim had to listen closely and convince her to stay calm and trust the plan so they could both stay safe during the next part of the journey.

Then Basim walked inside the bureau to tell Tabid about his mission being done at last. He gave his report and then took some time to rest inside the quiet rooms.

I had to choose a new mission from the board, and I picked one that asked me to meet Rebekah at the Karkh Bureau. I thought the waterway would be a shortcut and much faster than walking.
So I started rowing a boat through the narrow canals, but I soon noticed that the water was quite slow.

Since the boat was not as fast as I hoped, I decided to try the other way.
On my way, I spotted a locked crate guarded by a soldier. I assassinated the soldier quickly so I could steal some supplies from the crate.

I tried to leave the other soldier alone as I walked past his post. However, he noticed me moving through the shadows and came over to meet his fate, which was my sword.

I assassinated one more soldier on my way who was standing guard on a big wall. I was passing right beside him, so finished him before he could look into my eyes.

After reaching close to the Bureau, I called Enkidu to fly high and check the area. I wanted to spot the exact location of the bureau from the sky, and I found it quickly with the help of Enkidu.

I ran for the bureau and once inside, I found both Roshan and Rebekah waiting for me. Rebekah talked about the harsh reality of Karkh and how the people there were struggling. It was a very dark and difficult situation for everyone living in that part of town.

I met Roshan outside after I finished upgrading and equipping some new gear from Ahmad. I also changed my outfit before following Roshan toward the local market to see the injustice of the soldiers, who were treating the mercenaries very poorly in the middle of the street.

On our way to the market, Roshan said a lot of things to let me know more about the situation. After reaching the gate, Roshan welcomed me to the district. It seemed like Basim had a very good connection to this town.
Until next time, happy gaming.

Rebekah's description of Karkh really sets a somber tone. It makes the mission feel more urgent when you see the injustice the people are facing in the markets.
Yeah, her description really sets the mood before anything even starts.
I like how you decided to ditch the boat when it was too slow. Sometimes traveling by foot or rooftop is much better for speed. I also get confused in my game sometimes but I noticed rowing boat in AC Origins is somewhat fast, I'd say faster than riding a mount.
Yeah, navigation in these games can be surprisingly flexible.
You did an excellent job managing the stealth during your trip to the Karkh Bureau. Taking out the guards before they could alert others shows real mastery of the blade.
Thanks. Actually, I wanted to avoid any alarms going off.
This part of the story was very interesting. Basim and Nehal met again and talked about their emotional past. The ending part felt very deep and serious.
Yeah, that reunion carried a lot more weight than expected.
