Paid Protectors in the Fray.
Through careful planning, I neutralized several waves of hostiles by the paid allies at the dig site. The remaining stragglers were handled personally through stealth and throwing knives before a final leap of faith from the area's highest peak.

Right after my case there was closed, I noticed one of the guards was walking directly toward some dead bodies I had left behind earlier. I decided to intercept him quickly, ensuring he joined his fallen comrades.

I decided to fight some guards and get detected so my paid mercenaries would finally join the conflict. I used a lift and took down another guard along the way, though I still hadn't been officially spotted by the rest of the guards.

I walked directly in front of a guard so they would officially detect me. Once I succeeded, I started leading the group toward the mercenaries; it seemed the hired help wouldn't come to me willingly, so I had to bring the trouble to them.

After taking the guards to the mercenaries, my paid guys finally started fighting them as promised. I thought they would join the fight anywhere, but they were just waiting in their specific spot, forcing me to act as the bait.

I noticed some more guards looking for me near a pub. I moved closer and used a whistle to get them to chase me, once again luring a new group of enemies back toward the mercenary position.

Right when those guards came close to the mercenaries, my paid allies ran forward and started fighting them without any hesitation. I just stood back and enjoyed witnessing the enemies fall one by one during the chaotic battle.

Three guards remained alive in this dig site, and I decided to take them down on my own. I assassinated one of them and then took another one down in a brutal melee combat encounter as the situation heated up.

The third guard was an archer who was shooting at me from a distance. I decided not to get close to him; instead, I threw some throwing knives and took him down.

To wrap things up, I climbed up to the highest peak of the dig site. I took in the view of the cleared camp one last time and performed a leap of faith from the summit before finally leaving the area behind.
Until next time, happy gaming.

The way you used yourself as bait to draw the guards toward the hired allies was fun to read. Sometimes in stealth games things don't work exactly as expected, and players have to improvise. Well played
I liked the strategy you used in this part. Instead of rushing into direct combat, you cleverly used the mercenaries by luring enemies toward them. That kind of planning makes the gameplay more tactical.
The ending was so enjoyable that you finished the remaining guards yourself and then climbed to the highest point before performing the leap of faith. It's almost like taking a breath after the chaos before moving on.
It is interesting that the mercenaries stayed in their specific spot. Having to lure the guards to them turned the mission into a tense game of cat and mouse, but you made it work perfectly.
Excellent work on your screenshots, those moments were amazing, thanks for sharing!
