A Careful Stealth Approach.

I moved carefully through the area, stayed out of sight as guards patrolled. When an enemy came near, I changed my position and executed a series of stealthy takedowns. Despite catching fire and triggering a few near-alarms, I cleared the courtyard using swift focus strikes and well-aimed throwing knives.

One of the soldiers was coming close to my position, so I quickly changed my location to avoid detection. It was good that he turned to another side, giving me the perfect opening to strike.

I decided to move in and assassinate him, though the soldier almost saw me because he turned around right after going back.

I knew I should take care of him really fast, but he was out of my throwing knife's reach.

Instead, I focused on a different target and assassinated this man first. He almost screamed out, but I assassinated him before he could make a sound. For a moment, I worried that my perfect stealth was gone, but fortunately, it was not yet ruined.

I stayed hidden, waiting for the other soldier to get close so I could just assassinate him too. Suddenly, I found myself caught in a trap and I was on fire.

While I was waiting for the soldier, he kept closing in and eventually saw the dead body. He screamed out, forcing me into a direct confrontation. I killed him quickly, but another one was already coming toward the noise.

I managed to cut him down just in time. I guessed I was done taking care of them perfectly.

Further ahead, there were two guards standing together. I decided to try my assassin's focus on them to eliminate them both instantly.

The execution was flawless, but I ended up on fire again right afterward. I realized I needed to be more careful about this because I almost messed up last time with this fire thing. I took a moment to heal up and get my health back.

Once I was ready, I decided to go for more guards. I crept along the upper ledges, looking down at the targets below. I just jumped on one of them from above, and yeah, he was gone instantly. I hoped there was no one else around who heard the noise of me jumping on him. Fortunately, no one seemed to notice.

I knew I had to hide the body quickly because someone else was already coming here. I dragged the corpse out of sight just in time.

I then managed to assassinate two more guards in a swift chain attack when one of them was on guard, and the other one was checking on something.

Looking around, I noticed someone else nearby. I wondered what he was doing, perhaps having some meal. I chose to assassinate him while he was distracted. I just did assassinate him without a hitch.

Until next time, happy gaming.

My most clever part was that you dragged the dead body away to avoid any trouble from the other guards. It made the stealth mission easy to continue.

I had a feeling someone would eventually patrol that area, so moving the body was definitely the safer option.

Every time it looked like the stealth run was about to fall apart, you somehow pulled it back together. That was impressive. I normally don't go for stealth that much in Valhalla, as most of the time I overpower the enemies.

I was sure the alarm was about to go off a few times, but somehow it all worked out in the end.

I liked how you changed your plan according to the situation. That was a smart decision and kept the stealth going.

That's what I enjoy most about games that offer stealth.

You always seem to choose stealth whenever possible. Do you enjoy clearing an entire area without raising the alarm more than fighting everyone in open combat?

Yeah I enjoy it. There's something really satisfying about leaving a camp empty without ever raising the alarm.
