A Story of Longing
On a bright morning, when the dew still gently greeted the leaves, Raina walked slowly in the backyard of her grandmother's house. The sound of birds chirping seemed to greet her light footsteps. Her eyes were fixed on a purple orchid that was blooming two beautiful, tempting flowers with their velvety-smooth petals and soft colors that soothed the soul.
The flower was familiar. There it was the orchid that her mother had planted when Raina was little. Her mother said, "If longing greets you, come to this flower. It will tell the wind about your longing." Since her mother left forever, Raina rarely returned to that place. But today was different.
When she looked at the two flowers, her feelings were mixed: longing, emotion, and warmth. "Mother..." she whispered softly. The orchid seemed to answer through the subtle movements carried by the morning wind. And in that second, Raina felt like she had met again—not only with the flower of memories, but with love that had never truly disappeared.🌸
That's a cute story and also the flowers look lovely!
