The fists - monomad challenge
After several years, I visited this place again. In addition to commemorating the victims of the Second World War, this site should also be viewed as a great example of spatial planning and so-called Brutalist architecture.
It was designed to evoke a particular feeling - as if you are in a time that is neither entirely the past nor quite the near future, but rather represents a kind of legacy of a country that no longer exists.
Although there are impressive works of Brutalist architecture around the world, especially Balcans and Eastern European countries, Bubanj memorial park, with its conceptual, spatial, and artistic solutions, in no way falls behind them.
A visitor may feel as if they are walking through a new, completely unknown world.
Here`s my entry for the #monomad challenge.
