My Saturday farming session In 9 photos

After planting comes harvest. So yesterday I was in farm to harvest Maize. It was a success though tedious but the joy aftermate is overwhelming.

Maize is best harvested when the leaves are almost dried up but due to fear of theft and hardsmen attack we harvest prompt early harvest.

However I allow my own to be well dried before harvesting as you can see. This was possible because it's surrounded by human settlement making it more secured.

There are advantages of harvesting maize at right time. It reduce the stress of sun-drying when brought home 🏠.
