Walk to Jacobo Borges

Although this new year started a bit unsettled for us, my routine didn't stop; I spent my Wednesday outing taking a walk in the nearest park in the city. Since it was a day to relax, I took a break from social media and ignored my phone to enjoy the tranquility of nature, but I changed my plans and decided to immerse myself in art, visiting the Jacobo Borges Museum, which has always had a permanent exhibition of great artists who display their works in this space.

Aunque este año nuevo para nosotros comenzó un poco inquieto, mi rutina no se paró; mi paseo del miércoles lo invertí en darme una caminata al parque que tengo más cercano en la ciudad. Como es un día de relax, me aparté un poco de redes sociales e ignoré mi móvil para aprovechar la tranquilidad de la naturaleza, pero cambié mi actividad y decidí mezclarme con el arte y visité el museo Jacobo Borges, que siempre ha tenido una exhibición permanente de grandes artistas que proyectan sus obras de arte en este recinto.

On this occasion, the integration of the artists exhibiting their works expresses diverse reflective voices and creates highly artistic images, giving the space a rich thematic scope. It ranges from religious themes to creations using new techniques, combined with art and the reuse of solid waste, where humanity and the environment constantly interact to form that natural balance of life.

En esta oportunidad, la integración de los artistas que exhiben sus obras expresa distintas voces reflexivas y crean imágenes muy artísticas, dándole al espacio mucha temática. Va desde lo religioso a creaciones de nuevas técnicas, que se combinan con el arte y el aprovechamiento de desechos sólidos, donde el ser humano y el medio ambiente interactúan constantemente para formar ese equilibrio natural de la vida.

In this exhibition, you feel how the artists liberate themselves and express their feelings through their artwork, and you discover the diversity of themes that can be explored to create something unique. At the same time, it leaves us with a message or a lesson: that everything in life can be achieved with few resources, a little inspiration, and creativity.

En esta exposición sientes cómo los artistas se liberan y expresan sus sentimientos a través de sus obras de arte, y uno descubre la diversidad de temas que se pueden abordar para concebir una creación propia. Que al mismo tiempo nos deja un mensaje o una enseñanza para saber que todo en esta vida se puede aprovechar con pocos recursos, con algo de inspiración y creatividad.

And on the artistic side, you appreciate the work, observing the rich mix of colors that enhance the objects, the paintings, and the portraits with their intricate details. I believe that visiting museums allows us to learn about the cultural diversity of our people and the visiting countries, as well as the history and traditions that have transcended time.

Y en la parte artística, aprecias el trabajo, observando mucha mezcla de colores que enriquecen el objeto, la pintura y retratos con muchos detalles. Creo que la visita a los museos nos permite conocer la diversidad cultural de nuestro pueblo y de los países invitados, además de la historia y tradiciones que trascienden a través del tiempo.
