The San Agustín neighborhood in Caracas is full of murals. Everywhere you go, there is a work of art that stands out among the walls of the alleys, a place that compels me to discover street art every day and get to know its creators. This time, the image I am showing you is located at one of the exits of the Metrocable transport system in San Agustín.

Una Serpiente En Mi Camino

El sector de San Agustín en Caracas, este colmado de murales, en cada sitio que vas, hay una obra de arte que destaca entre las paredes de los callejones, un sitio que me obliga a descubrir cada día el arte callejero e ir conociendo a sus autores, en esta oportunidad la imagen que les muestro está ubicado en una de las salidas del sistema de transporte Metrocable de San Agustín.

Luis Leiva “Cras Punk” is a visual artist who graduated from the Armando Reverón School. Known for being an irreverent and avant-garde creator, he is the creator of the mural I am presenting to you. In his work, he captures the history and experiences of the community along with its most symbolic figures who have left their mark on that space.

Luis Leiva “Cras Punk”, es el Artista Plástico, egresado de la Escuela Armando Reverón, conocido por ser un creador irreverente y vanguardista, es el creador del mural que les presento, en su trabajo plasma la historia y vivencias de la comunidad junto con sus personajes más simbólicos que han dejado huella en ese espacio.

The artist is part of a collective of professional visual artists whose goal is cultural preservation through murals. He is a member of the teams behind “Arte Itinerante a través del Mural” (Traveling Art through Murals), “Ciudad Mural” (Mural City), and Guaguancó de Colores, a multicultural project involving different artists. He can be found on social media as craspunk, a complete and dedicated artist who is well known throughout our country. I was able to gather information about him on Instagram.

El artista forma parte del colectivo de artista plásticos profesionales, que tienen como meta el rescate cultural a través de los murales formando parte del equipo de trabajo del “Arte Itinerante a través del Mural”, “Ciudad Mural” y Guaguancó de Colores, siendo una propuesta multicultural donde intervienen diferentes artistas. Se encuentra en las redes sociales como: a craspunk, un artista completo y entregado, conocido a nivel nacional en nuestro país. En Instagram logre recopilar información sobre él.
