Green Caracas part 2 / Caracas verde parte 2. EN/ESP.

First of all, cordial greetings to the communities of Liketu, Visual Shots and Hive in general. A couple of months ago I published a post called Caracas Verde, which you can see here, it was the children's day of 2002, there I posted images that I took from the balcony of my house, which faces the north of Caracas, and others from the streets that go to the east of the area where I live.

Antes que nada cordiales saludos a las comunidades de Liketu, Visual Shots y Hive en general. Le comento, hace un par de meses publiqué un post llamado Caracas Verde, el cual pueden ver aquí, fue el día del niño del 2002, ahí coloque imágenes que tomé desde el balcón de mi casa, que da hacia el norte de Caracas, y otras de las calles que van hacia al este de la zona donde vivo.

Yesterday December 27th, in spite of the huge internet failure, I had the opportunity to communicate with my nephew who is in a sector of New York, he told me that at this moment they were freezing with the temperatures and that one of the things he missed the most of the area where we live, is precisely the weather and especially the trees in the streets.

El día de ayer 27 de diciembre, a pesar de la enorme falla que hubo en el internet, tuve la oportunidad de comunicarme con mi sobrino que está en un sector de New York, me comentó que en estos momentos se estaban congelando con las temperaturas y que una de las cosas que más extrañaba de la zona donde vivimos, es justamente el clima y en especial los árboles en las calles.

Samuel told me that in the area of New York where he lives there are no trees, that the place where there are more bushes is Central Park, but that does not compare to the exuberance and beauty of our city, where you can see when you go for a walk, leafy trees of different types, squirrels and exotic birds such as Macaws, Hawks, Herons, Paraulatas, Hummingbirds, Doves, Zamuros and more, just by going to the bakery that is about 800 meters from our house.

Samuel me comentó que en la zona de New York donde vive no hay árboles, que el lugar donde hay más matas es el Central Parck, pero que eso no se compara a la exuberancia y la belleza de nuestra ciudad, donde se puede ver al salir a caminar, árboles frondosos de diferentes tipos, ardillas y aves exóticas como las Guacamayas, Gavilanes, Garzas, Paraulatas, Colibríes, Palomas, Zamuros y más, con solo ir a la panadería que está a unos 800 metros de nuestra casa.

He told me that he missed the Plaza Madariaga and the Paéz, among other things, and I took the opportunity to inform him that the fountain in the plaza had been restored and was soon to be inaugurated again, and that the plaza had also been restored and reforested.

Me comentó que extrañaba la Plaza Madariaga y la Paéz, entre otras cosas, ahí aproveché para informarle que se había restaurado la fuente de la plaza y que pronto la iban a inaugurar nuevamente y que además se había arreglado y reforestado la plaza.

Listening to his nostalgia, I decided to make this post, to take him, even if only visually and for a few moments, out of that dull and somber world, and who knows if lack of joy, not only visually but also spiritually.

Al escuchar su nostalgia, decidí hacer este post, para sacarlo aunque sea visualmente y por pocos momentos, de ese mundo opaco y sombrío, y quin sabe si falta de alegría no solamente visual sino espiritual.

I hope you like the images and I would like to remind you of that wise popular saying "You don't know what you have until you lose it".

Espero le gusten las imágenes y quisiera recordarles ese refrán popular tan sabio que dice “Uno no sabe lo que tiene hasta que lo pierde”.
