Desde que se inició el proceso de cambios políticos en el país, una de las situaciones más interesantes que se ha presentado para mi gusto, es el impulso y el reconocimiento de la cultura nacional, el rescate de nuestras tradiciones y el impulso artístico vinculado a un ente de resistencia cultural, basado en lo que muchos llaman el arte de calle.

Uno de los procesos más interesantes en este ámbito, lo han venido llevando los Gabinetes Culturales, que son la representación administrativa y operativa del ministerio de la cultura en todos los estados del país. Y desde esos entes, se han logrado impulsar encuentros nacionales de poesía, publicaciones de libros, impulso de grupos musicales, grabaciones de discos, impulso del teatro, la danza, y otros aspectos culturales, tanto en la capital, como en los diferentes estados.

También a través de los Gabinetes Culturales, se han impulsado cursos y talleres culturales en las comunidades diferentes comunidades del país.

Y uno de los proyectos más bonitos e interesantes que se han impulsado desde estos entes, es el muralismo. En el caso de Caracas, que es donde yo he tenido la oportunidad de vivir y de compartir esta experiencia, el muralismo se ha convertido en un arte social de resistencia y de rescate cultural, con mucha representación, tanto de artistas y profesores en el área del muralismo reconocidos a nivel nacional e internacional, como es el caso de Iván Dario Henández. Como de nuevos artistas y grafiteros que se han sumado a este hermoso movimiento.

En este post, quiero mostrar unas imágenes de la realización de un enorme mural, de casi 2000 metros, realizado en Antimano, en el oeste de Caracas, donde se destaca la identidad venezolana, a través de imágenes que reflejan la historia, la idiosincrasia, las raíces y las luchas del pueblo venezolano.

And one of the most beautiful and interesting projects that have been promoted since these entities, is muralism. In the case of Caracas, which is where I have had the opportunity to live and share this experience, muralism has become a social art of resistance and cultural rescue, with a lot of representation, both artists and teachers in the area of muralism recognized nationally and internationally, as is the case of Iván Dario Henández. As of new artists and graffiti artists who have joined this beautiful movement.

In this post, I want to show some images of the realization of a huge mural, almost 2000 meters, made in Antimano, in the west of Caracas, where the Venezuelan identity is highlighted, through images that reflect the history, the idiosyncrasies, the roots and the struggles of the Venezuelan people.
