El día de hoy, quiero compartir con ustedes unas imágenes del sector Puente Hierro de Caracas. Mi idea, el día de hoy, era dar un paseo por la zona y hacer unas tomas de uno de los sectores más importantes a nivel histórico de Caracas.

Sin embargo, en pleno día soleado, hubo un cambio de clima y la lluvia me sorprendió, y solo pude tomar algunas imágenes de la avenida principal y de la Quinta de Villa Zoila. En el caso de la Quinta de Villa Zoila, tuve algunos problemas con los militares que la custodian, que se negaron a que les tomara fotos, y me pidieron que fuese el fin de semana en hora de visita al museo.

However, in the middle of a sunny day, there was a change of weather and the rain surprised me, and I was only able to take some pictures of the main avenue and the Quinta de Villa Zoila. In the case of the Quinta de Villa Zoila, I had some problems with the military who guard it, who refused to let me take pictures of them, and asked me to come on the weekend at visiting time to the museum.

Y por último, me interrumpieron, cuando quería hacer varias imágenes de la reja, y aunque les dije que no era zona militar la parte de afuera, me sugirieron muy seriamente que no siguiera tomando las fotos. Pero intentaré ir el domingo a saciar mi sed de fotos en la casa.

Una de las tomas que sí pude hacer, fue de lo que yo llamo, la arquitectura sagrada, que es parte del ramaje de los hermosos árboles que decoran la avenida principal y otras tomas que me parecieron interesantes y que espero puedan disfrutar.

One of the shots that I was able to take, was of what I call, the sacred architecture, which is part of the branches of the beautiful trees that decorate the main avenue and other shots that I found interesting and that I hope you can enjoy.

Puente Hierro está ubicado en la parte suroeste de Caracas, y el mismo tiene una gran importancia a nivel histórico y urbanístico dentro de la ciudad capital. El nombre del sector proviene del primer puente metálico, que pasaba sobre el río Guaire construido en la ciudad de Caracas a finales del siglo XIX.
