Very good morning friends of Wednesday's walk,It is a pleasure to show you my walk through Old Havana, exactly in the historical area, I am sure you have already seen some pictures, but you will never get tired of admiring it, not only for its natural and architectural beauty, but also for the atmosphere that shows its streets and its people, it is a lively and dynamic place, full of cultural and artistic activities, it is always lively with music, dance and theater, which are an integral part of the Cuban identity.
Muy buen día amigos de paseo de miércoles, es un placer poder mostrarles mi paseo por la Habana Vieja, exactamente por el caso histórico, estoy seguro que ya habrán vistos algunas imágenes, pero nunca se van a cansar de admirarla, no solo por su belleza natural y arquitectónica , también por el ambiente que muestra sus calles y su gente ,es un lugar vivo y dinámico, lleno de actividades culturales y artísticas, está siempre animada con música, danza y teatro, que son parte integral de la identidad cubana.
My granddaughter accompanied me on my walk and we had a lot of fun because she is always frightened by the living statues and sometimes does not distinguish them from the real ones, this time we did not see any living statue, but she did not want to pose near the bronze ones.
En mi paseo me acompaño mi nieta y nos divertimos mucho pues ella siempre se asusta con las estatuas vivientes y a veces no las distingue de las reales, en esta ocasión no vimos ninguna estatua viviente, pero no quiso ni por casualidad posar cerca de las de bronce.
I love the atmosphere of the streets, they are always quite lively, the stores are very picturesque and lively with musicians, also its cobblestone streets and the different sculptures and fountains take you to another era.
A mí me encanta el ambiente de las calles, siempre son bastante movidas, los comercios se ven muy pintorescos muy animados con músicos, también sus calles empedradas y las diferentes esculturas y fuentes te van llevando a otra época .
We stopped to contemplate the beauty of the interior courtyards of the buildings, that is one of the distinctive elements of the colonial era, the wood of the interior staircases, the iron work, the gardens, they are really beautiful.
Nos detuvimos a contemplar la belleza de los patios interiores de las edificaciones, eso es uno de los elementos distintivos de la época colonial, la madera de sus escaleras interiores el trabajo con el hierro, los jardines, son realmente lindos.
Old Havana was declared a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO because of its rich history, its beautiful colonial architecture and its cultural importance, making it a unique place in the world, which we Cubans are proud to treasure.
La Habana Vieja, fue declarada por la UNESCO Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad, por su rica historia, su hermosa arquitectura colonial y su importancia cultural, la convierten en un lugar único en el mundo, que con orgullo atesoramos los cubanos.
