La Cascada "El Olimpo" es una de ellas, y es que, solo hace falta hacer esta ruta para entender el porqué de su nombre; Este lugar está ubicado en pleno corazón del Piedemonte andino barinés y vale la pena toda la travesía, siempre acompañado claro de algún guía especializado de la zona.

Ubicada en el sector la laguna, a unos 10 kilómetros del pueblo de calderas, se encuentra esta hermosa Cascada con una impresionante caída de agua (fría de montaña) y en medio de un paisaje rocoso y escarpado.
Se debe tener mucha precaución a la hora de caminar ya que en su mayoría el recorrido es entre grandes y falsas rocas, pero les aseguro que valdrá la pena la aventura; Río abajo se consiguen también con varios pozos, ideales para darse un buen baño y refrescarse de la caminada.

Pozo Azul | Blue Well
Escondido entre sembradíos de Café y un exuberante bosque tropical se encuentra: pozo azul, entre las montañas Caldereñas.
Un Pozo que cuenta con innumerables mitos e historias que lo envuelven en un misticismo, yo les confieso que tenía muchas ganas de bañarme en él, pero cuando llegamos y lo observé, realmente me inspiró respeto, me quedé hipnotizado en el profundo color azul de sus aguas.
Este es otro de esos lugares que no deben dejar de conocer si están de visita por Calderas en Barinas.

Puente de Cobre | Copper Bridge

A unos 15 min a pié, saliendo desde la plaza principal de calderas, se consiguen con otro de los puntos más visitados dentro del pueblo: El Puente de Cobre.
Este lugar, que a simple vista parece un puente colgante, cuenta con varias bases sólidas que lo hacen bastantes firme.
Es bastante transitado por propios ya que conecta con otros caseríos cercanos, así también como por turistas, quienes además de conocerlo, aprovechan de disfrutar del pequeño "balneario" natural creado justo debajo de este.

Partiendo desde el balneario "Piedra del Patio" en el pueblo de calderas, realizando un trekking de aproximadamente una hora y media, con un nivel de dificultad media por una ruta montañosa en el Pie de Monte Andino Barinés, te consigues con este hermoso lugar donde el río azul pasa por unos estrechos pasillos naturales y cristalinos ideales para darse un buen chapuzón.
Llamados "Corredores del diablo ó diablito", debido a la fuerza y turbulencia que crea el rio al pasar por esta parte; La atracción principal acá es lanzarse y dejarse llevar por la corriente, pero no se preocupen, ya que donde termina el corredor se abre en un pozo donde el agua es mucho más suave y créanme querrán volverse a lanzar.
El cristalino color de estas aguas es hipnotizante y le da al lugar un valor escénico y paisajístico increíble; En caso de visitarlo, te recomiendo evitar temporadas o días lluviosos y siempre ir en compañía de un baqueano o guía de la zona a cualquiera de las rutas, trae siempre de regreso tu basura y no alteres o modifiques el ecosistema o entorno donde te encuentres.
