PhotoEdits @oscarps - In old swamp
This morning, in a not very extensive area of an old swamp, I was able to take some images that caught my attention on the way around its perimeter. With luck some birds that live in the area came to say hello and I was able to entertain myself for a while taking some pictures of them. The movement of this beautiful bird, the goose, reminds me of strutting and its haughty and proud way of moving reminded me of some characteristics of the human being. When I approached her, a certain fear that she would confront me provoked me, to tell the truth, a peck from these wonderful birds must not be very pleasant, they become wild when you invade their land or their nests. Perhaps the size of his fears is again the size of the weapon he wields, in this case his beak, although there are other types of weapons that, depending on their size, denote this weakness.
Something cautious and vigilant was getting closer to me and as I was seeing his behavior I was photographing him with my camera. The truth is that the morning was very calm and changeable this spring. Aquifers, such as the case of this swamp, have recovered their capacity thanks to the rains and snowmelt over these months and have become a source of life and habitat for many different species.
The old wooden swamp provided me with some good shots where natural aspects merge and where the hand of man blends in. In remote times, these types of small ports were used to embark or disembark small boats that moved and worked collecting and fishing in these swamps. The passage of time has taken its toll on them but many of them are still preserved in excellent shape.

En esta mañana en una zona no muy extensa de un viejo pantano pude tomar algunas imágenes que captaron mi atención en el recorrido que realice a su perímetro. Con suerte algunas aves que habitan en la zona vinieron a saludarme y pude entretenerme un rato haciéndoles algunas fotografías. El movimiento de esta preciosa ave, la oca, me recuerda al pavoneo y su forma de desplazarse altiva y orgullosa me recordaba a algunas características del ser humano. Al acercarme a ella cierto temor a que se enfrentara a mi me provocaba, a decir verdad un picotazo de estas maravillosas aves no debe ser muy agradable, se ponen como fieras cuando invades su terreno o sus nidos. Quizás el tamaño de sus miedos es de nuevo el tamaño del arma que esgrime, en este caso su pico, aunque hay otros tipos de armas que según su tamaño denotan esta debilidad.
Algo cauteloso y vigilante me iba acercando y en la medida que iba viendo su comportamiento lo iba retratando con mi cámara. Lo cierto es que la mañana estaba muy apacible y cambiante en esta primavera. Los acuíferos como el caso de este pantano han recuperado gracias a las lluvias y el deshielo de estos meses su capacidad y se convierten en fuente de vida y hábitat de muchas especies distintas.
El viejo pantanal de madera me proporciono algunas buenas tomas donde se fusión aspectos naturales y donde se mimetiza la mano del hombre. En un tiempo remoto este tipo de pequeños puertos se usaban para embarcar o desembarcar pequeñas barcas que se movían y trabajan recolectando y pescando en estos pantanos. El paso del tiempo ha hecho mella en ellos pero siguen conservándose muchos de ellos en excelente forma.
La oportunidad de escaparme y tomar estas imágenes se convierten para mí en fuente de energía, en necesidad imperiosa de vivir cada momento como si fuera lo último, en exprimir la vida al margen de otras consideraciones que parecen más elevadas y a no pretender ser el más rico del cementerio.
