Through Color we bring art to life.
Light and color are the visual elements that have dazzled us since the first man on earth opened his eyes.
It is actually light that through the behavior of its waves generates every possible range of colors, a perfect example would be the colors of the aurora borealis. Moreover, with the advent of modernity, man has found in art the way to present his vision of colors, the way in which the artist perceives them and infinite ways to create them through the handling of light.
Today we see in social networks how the use of artificial lighting to create environments rich in diametrically opposed colors is becoming more and more frequent. These are techniques that were actually born in the theater in recent centuries and then were adopted in the cinema where they developed to unimaginable levels.

These techniques are now widely used in photography, creating mind-blowing lighting environments and portraits that leave viewers perplexed by their visual dynamism and beauty in the mastery of color.
For some years now I have been doing my own experiments in colorimetry with the basic elements that I have in my modest studio. In one of these experiments I was able to apply the technique of contrasting two classic colors that are diametrically opposed, such as blue and red, softened with white light modifiers.

On this occasion I was accompanied by the beautiful Verónica, a beautiful young girl who models like an angel. The result of this practice can be seen in these pictures that I share with you today.
I invite you to pay attention to the edges, it would seem that the photo had been moved, however it is not, it is the result of the direct collision between two lights with colors that are diametrically different from each other. This is due to the fact that light colors travel in the same wave frequency and none of them can dominate the other, so by sharing the same spectrum of light they generate that "wave clash" that is able to confuse our eyes with such a beautiful and particular effect.

Making a little history I tell you that the master Carlos Cruz Diez, considered one of the greatest thinkers of color of the twentieth century, who dedicated his life and work to the color, making several studies of the color throughout his life. Among so many wonderful works that he left us, I especially remember the phrase;
"There exists in the collective unconscious the idea that art is a painting hanging in a museum, but art is life". Source

I will be sharing more of my photography experiences soon. I hope these images are to your liking.
