What is Challenge?

All of us set goals in life, short, medium and long term projects. And it is very true that there are difficult goals and achieving them requires a great effort on our part. We say that we have a challenge before us when we intend to achieve success in a given matter.

A personal challenge is a challenge we impose on ourselves. It is a way of stimulating ourselves. The challenge does not apply to the attainment of an unimportant achievement, it refers to a goal that entails effort, struggle and tenacity. We consider that it is worth giving up many things and working hard because the prize we are going to obtain is high, something very gratifying.

In this sense, the challenge is an intense longing for victory. At the moment of triumph, there is the feeling that the initial challenge has been conquered.

A challenge is a message to our inner self. It means that we put ourselves to the test, accept sacrifice and are convinced of our ability to achieve a successful outcome.

It is also possible to accept a challenge from someone else. Something really difficult is proposed to us and we evaluate the difficulty, our willpower and the advantages and disadvantages. Finally, we make a decision; we accept the challenge or not.

I tell you all this because throughout my career as a photographer I have seen how difficult it is for women to dare to do some types of photography for which they can be harshly criticized. In the WEB3.0 era there is too much Hate on social media and it's not easy for a girl to have to endure unnecessary criticism.

Meylin felt like a challenge to take these photos, she wanted these portraits for a while but she was afraid of being criticized, it has happened to her before, so this time she took courage and decided to overcome that fear inside her and accepted her own challenge. These photos are the brave result of her bravery and I can clearly see that there's fire in your eyes.
