Learning the tradition through food
I want to share our activities this morning at school, by carrying out P5 activities, namely the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project, namely cooking pliek soup.
The purpose of today's activity is so that students can recognize local tradition by cooking traditional Acehnese soup. Therefore, this project was carried out to reintroduce the original culture of the Acehnese people through traditional food.
And to be able to use various kinds of vegetables into various kinds of processed foods. Because the school environment itself is full of plants of various types of vegetables, such as sweet potato leaves, eggplant, papaya, cempokak, lemongrass, and so on, these vegetables are the results that we grow together, both teachers and students themselves..
Amazing my friend learning about traditional cooking methods are important i know in my country some children and even adults would not know how to cook for themselves if they had to survive without modern technology.
Have the best new week ahead

I find it very interesting to address the issue of culture and common heritage of a nation from its food and traditional preparations.
It caught my attention to ask where the Acehnese soup was from, so I passed it through the search engine and among the links it recommended I saw: "Mie Aceh (Acehnese Noodle Soup) originated in Aceh which is located in Sumatra island in Indonesia"
The site that I reviewed also has a recipe on how to prepare it and they seem to make us want to try it and see how it turns out at home :)
By the way, the site was: https://www.indonesiancooking101.com/catalog/?recipe_name=Mie%20Aceh%20(Acehnese%20Noodle%20Soup)
