A crisp morning with clear skies at first. I did my interval walking route along the Schleusenland behind the castle park and indulged in my usual breathing exercises and meditation at the large weir. Afterward, I made a quick detour to our district’s City Hall and went ahead and voted, since I won’t have time on Election Day itself. Then the roofers finally installed the new skylight for me and immediately noted all the other issues that needed fixing. I brought you a photo of the City Hall taken from the back courtyard, along with the organic trunk of a swamp cypress that somehow fits the scene quite well.
Ein frischer Morgen mit anfänglich klarem Himmel. Ich bin die Schleusenlandrunde im Intervall-Walking hinter den Schlosspark gegangen und hab am großen Wehr dem üblichen Atmen und Meditieren gefrönt. Im Anschluss gleich den Abstecher ins Bezirksrathaus gemacht und schonmal das Wählen hinter mich gebracht, da ich am eigentlichen Wahltag keine Zeit haben werde. Dann haben mir die Dachdecker endlich die neue Lichtkuppel eingebaut und gleich alles Weitere an Mängeln aufgenommen. Mitgebracht hab ich euch das Rathaus vom hinteren Hof aus geschossen und den irgendwie ziemlich gut dazu passenden organischen Stamm einer Sumpfzypresse.
