Dayout in Kassel - My Actifit Report Card: August 22nd, 2026

After a short night due to the anniversary celebration at my client’s place, I had a hearty breakfast at the hotel before we met up with a friend in Kassel and wandered around the city a bit, racking up quite a few steps in the process. Later, we took the train back home, and that was it for today’s activities. All in all, a nice weekend trip with a fun celebration and mixed weather, but pretty great overall. From Kassel, I brought back for you a church, a bed frame in an unusual spot, and the first photo straight from my hotel room—a rescue helicopter.
Nach kurzer Nacht wegen der Jubiläumsfeier bei meinem Kunden dann ausgiebig im Hotel gefrühstückt, bevor wir eine Freundin in Kassel getroffen haben und etwas durch die Stadt gezogen sind und dabei ordentlich Schritte gesammelt haben. Später dann wieder mit der Bahn nach Hause und das war’s dann für heute mit Aktion. Warn schöner Wochenendausflug mit spassiger Feier und gemischtem Wetter, aber insgesamt schon ganz schön. Aus Kassel mitgebracht hab ich euch eine Kirche, ein Bettgestell an ungewöhnlichem Ort und das erste Motiv direkt aus meinem Hotelzimmer, einen Rettungshubschrauber.
