It was another fairly warm start to the day this morning, around 12 degrees with little wind, which made it quite a workout. I treated myself to the long Schleusenland loop behind the castle park, doing interval walking, as my last morning walk here for the time being, because starting tomorrow I’m heading to London on a business trip, and June is pretty packed with work overall. At the hidden creek and the large shiplock weir, I did a few breathing exercises, enjoyed the lush vegetation all around, and meditated a bit. There were plenty of photo opportunities today, and maybe I’ll spread the pictures out over the next few busy days of work and walking on the job in London, where I might not get much time to take photos during the setup days for the conference, we’ll see. For today, I’ve decided to edit a few more little critters and bring them along for you to look at, because it’s just the right time for it. I discovered a completely empty caterpillar nest with just a single remaining resident, a large beetle feasting on a flower, and a tree full of eggs from a critter I don’t know.

Und wieder ein recht warmer Tagesbeginn heute Morgen um die 12 Grad ohne viel Wind und damit schon recht schweißtreibend. Die große Schleusenlandrunde hinter dem Schlosspark im Intervall-Walking habe ich mir gegönnt als vorerst letzten Morningwalk hier, denn ab morgen geht’s auf Arbeitsreise nach London und der Juni ist insgesamt recht voll mit Jobs. Am versteckten Bach und am großen Schleusenwehr habe ich ein paar Atemübungen gemacht, das üppige Gewächs überall dort genossen und etwas meditiert. Motive boten sich heute einige an und vielleicht verteile ich die Bilder auf die nächsten Arbeits- und Schrittreichen Tage in London, wo ich an den Aufbautagen für den Kongress evtl. nicht viel zum Fotografieren kommen werde, mal schauen. Für heute habe ich mich erstmal entschieden, euch nochmal ein paar little critters zu bearbeiten und zum Anschauen mitzubringen, denn es ist halt grad die Zeit. Hab ein komplett leeres Raupennest mit nur einer einzelnen zurückgebliebenen Bewohnerin entdeckt, einen großen Käfer, der sich an einer Blume gütlich tut, und einen Baum voller Eier von einem mir unbekannten Critter.
