It was already quite warm this morning, with temperatures above 10 degrees. I hopped on my bike and headed to Volkspark Jungfernheide, as I usually do on Sundays. I hadn’t slept very well last night, and since yesterday, one of the tendons in my foot, which I strained years ago, has been acting up again. So, after the first few rounds of interval walking, I took a leisurely stroll through the park and listened to the concert of our feathered friends. This time, I took in the magnificent green views of the island’s untamed vegetation and meditated on its shores alongside the sunbathing turtles, and of course, I’ve brought both of these experiences back for you, along with a short video.

Es war schon gut warm heute Morgen bei über 10 Grad. Ab aufs Rad und los zum Volkspark Jungfernheide, wie üblich sonntags. Hatte die Nacht irgendwie nicht so gut geschlafen und seit gestern meldet sich eine meiner vor Jahren angerissenen Sehnen im Fuß wieder. Also nach den ersten paar Durchgängen Intervall-Walking dann ganz entspannt eine kleinere Runde durch den Park spaziert und dem Konzert der Gefiederten Freunde gelauscht. Diesmal mit großartigem grünem Blick in den Wildwuchs der Insel geatmet und an ihrem Ufer mit den sich sonnenden Schildkröten meditiert, und beides hab ich euch natürlich mitgebracht, inkl. kleinem Filmchen.
