A Relaxed Mother’s Day at the Lake - My Actifit Report Card: May 10th, 2026

A crisp, sunny, and initially cool morning, but with no wind. A little later, on my walk through the palace park and around Luiseninsel, the sun started to warm me up quite nicely. I met and greeted my usual feathered friends, but overall I just did a fairly brisk interval-walking morning walk, because it’s Mother’s Day and I drove out of town to meet my mom, and we had a nice meal and a relaxing time together. I brought you some pictures of the lake where she lives.
Ein frischer, sonniger, anfänglich kühler Morgen, aber ohne Wind. Etwas später auf meiner Runde durch den Schlosspark und um die Luiseninsel wärmte die Sonne dann recht gut. Habe die üblichen gefiederten Freunde getroffen und gegrüsst, aber insgesamt nur einen eher schnellen Intervall-Walking-Morningwalk gemacht, denn es ist Muttertag und ich bin noch aus der Stadt rausgefahren, um meine Mom zu treffen und wir haben gut gegessen und hatten eine entspannte Zeit miteinander. Ich habe euch Bilder vom See, an dem sie lebt, mitgebracht.

Gut, dass ich deinen Post gelesen habe... die letzten Male war Muttertag in Deutschland immer an einem anderen Datum als in Ecuador, entsprechend war ich nicht vorbereitet. Habe aber noch eine Nachricht an meine Mutter schicken könnne, zumindest rechtzeitig nach hiesiger Uhrzeit :-D
I feel you! Auf ähnliche Art und Weise hab ich auch grad den Geburtstag eines meiner ältesten Freunde verkackt, weil in Neu Seeland war schon einen Tag später als ich hier am richtigen Tag dran dachte 🙄😆
