Swan Dance on the Icy River Spree - My Actifit Report Card: February 6th, 2026

Last night it rained again and temperatures were around 0 degrees this morning. Everything was covered in a thin layer of ice. Even the snow, which is still lying everywhere, and every step sounded not just like the typical crunch of snow, but had something louder, more crisp, unless you were sliding. Interval walking was simply not possible because of this icy situation. I had to walk very carefully, and after shopping for the weekend, I actually fell on my butt on a completely icy staircase, but I was fine. Only one egg in the 10-pack in my shopping bag was affected. I brought you a couple of swans that I saw billing and cooing on the Spree.
Letzte Nacht gab es wieder Regen und die Temperaturen lagen heute Morgen um die 0 Grad. Alles war mit einer dünnen Eisschicht eingehüllt. Auch der Schnee, der noch überall liegt, und jeder Schritt klang nicht einfach nur nach dem typischen Knirschen von Schnee, sondern hatte etwas Lauteres, mehr knackig Crispes, sofern man denn nicht am Schlittern war. Intervall-Walking war wegen dieser eisigen Situation auch einfach nicht möglich. Sehr vorsichtig gehen war angesagt und nach dem Einkaufen fürs Wochenende habe ich mich denn tatsächlich einmal auf einer komplett vereisten Treppe auf den Hintern gesetzt, aber es ist mir nichts passiert. Nur ein Ei in der 10er Packung in meiner Tasche mit den Einkäufen hat es erwischt. Ein Pärchen Schwäne, die ich auf der Spree beim Turteln gesehen habe, habe ich euch mitgebracht.
