Black Ice Holes and a Sunrise - My Actifit Report Card: January 19th, 2026

And the next frost is on its way. It was cold and dry, and luckily there was little wind. It was time again for the Luiseninselrunde through the palace gardens at an interval walking pace, with relaxed breathing and meditation exercises by the water or ice on the shore of the island near the old alder tree. According to the weather forecast for the coming week, the waters in the palace gardens will probably remain frozen for a while. The queen was super minimal today, adorned with only one snowberry in her décolleté. Today I brought you pictures of ice holes created by the artificial ventilation of the streams and the sunrise through the bare trees where the ivy climbs even in winter.
Und der nächste Frost ist am Start. Es war kalt und trocken und zum Glück gab es nur wenig Wind. Die Luiseninselrunde durch den Schlosspark im Intervall-Walking war wieder dran, mit entspannten Atem- und Meditationsübungen am Wasser bzw. Eis am Ufer der Insel bei der alten Erle. Wie sich der Wetterbericht für die kommende Woche liest, werden die Wasser im Schlosspark wohl noch eine Weile gefroren bleiben. Die Königin war heute superminimal, mit nur einer Schneebeere im Dekolleté geschmückt. Mitgebracht habe ich euch heute Bilder von Eislöchern, die durch die künstliche Belüftung der Bäche entstehen, und den Sonnenaufgang durch die kahlen Bäume an denen der Efeu auch im Winter hochklettert.
