Just below freezing, light drizzle, and everything completely icy outside this morning. I almost fell on my butt several times because not all the roads had been gritted yet. I briefly considered doing the Mierendorffinselrunde route and realized that I could walk on sand, grass, and gravel most of the time, otherwise I would have preferred to go back to the couch because of the dangerous slippery conditions. I decided not to do interval walking today because I had to be very careful in some places to avoid slipping and falling. This made the morning walk feel twice as strenuous, and I didn't really have much leisure to look for photo opportunities, but on the way back, the frozen Spree and a pair of swans presented themselves, so I was able to bring you some photos to admire after all.

Knapp unter Null grad, leichter Nieselregen und alles total eisglatt draussen heute morgen. Ich hab mich mehrfach fast auf den Arsch gesetzt weil noch nicht überall gestreut war. Ich hatte zuerst kurz die Mierendorffinselrunde im Kopf durchgedacht und festgestellt, dass ich die meiste Zeit auf Sand, Gras und Schotter laufen konnte, ansonsten wär ich bei der gefährlichen Glätte lieber wieder zurück auf die Couch gegangen. Das mit dem Intervall-Walking hab ich heute mal sein gelassen da ich an manchen Stellen eben sehr vorsichtig gehen musste um nicht auszurutschen und hinzufallen. Der Morningwalk fühlte sich dadurch auch doppelt so anstrengend an und ich hatte nicht wirklich viel Muße für die Motivsuche, aber die vereiste Spree und ein Schwanenpärchen boten sich mir dann auf dem Rückweg noch an um euch doch noch Fotos zum bestaunen mitbringen zu können.
