Friday ☀️ 8920

A soft silver stillness drifted through the cold morning as I stepped onto the short peninsula route, knowing the rain would come. I moved in steady intervals, feeling the world fade like a quiet stage without its lights, and I skipped my breathing and meditation exercises to escape the drizzle that threatened every shoreline corner. I finished them later on my covered terrace, where the steady patter of rain played like a gentle drum. It wasn't a good morning for photos; it was still too dark and the sky remained stubbornly dull, but I still found an impressive black-and-white motif full of atmosphere. Maybe I only find it atmospheric because I know there's a cozy café inside the house under the chimney, who knows. I brought it back for you anyways, along with an edited image of the decorated queen from another day, hoping both would add a little warmth to an otherwise cool and misty memory.

Ein sanftes silbernes Schweigen zog durch den kalten Morgen, als ich die kurze Halbinselroute ging und wusste, wissend das der Regen kommen würde. Ich lief in Intervallen, während die Welt wie eine gedimmte Bühne verblasste, und ich ließ meine Atem und Meditationsübungen aus, um dem Nieselregen zu entgehen, der an jeder Ecke lauerte. Später holte ich das auf meiner überdachten Terrasse nach, wo der gleichmäßige Regentakt wie eine leise Trommel klang. Es war kein guter Morgen für Fotos, es war eh noch zu dunkel und der Himmel blieb stur und matt, doch ich fand trotzdem ein eindrucksvolles schwarz weiß Motiv voller Stimmung. Vielleicht empfinde ich es auch nur als Stimmungsvoll, weil ich weiss das sich in dem Haus unter dem Schornstein ein gemütliches Café befindet, wer weiss. Ich habe es euch so oder so mitgebracht, zusammen mit einem bearbeiteten Bild der geschmückten Königin von einem anderen Tag, in der Hoffnung, dass beide etwas Wärme in eine sonst kühle und neblige Erinnerung bringen.
