It started on a cool, dry morning when the air felt crisp enough to taste. The sky was clear, only a few stars still clinging to the edge of dawn as I set out. After such a long break, returning to the Mierendorffinsel loop felt like meeting an old friend who never forgot my name. I stopped by the water for a few quiet breaths, the surface perfectly still, mirroring my mind. Then the sky lit up, a golden sunrise spilling across the island, painting the day with quiet promise and which I brought you of course. I didn’t rush, I simply stood there, soaking in the silence before the city woke.
Es begann an einem kühlen, trockenen Morgen, an dem die Luft klar genug war, um sie zu schmecken. Der Himmel war wolkenlos, ein paar Sterne hielten sich noch am Rand der Dämmerung, als ich losging. Nach langer Zeit fühlte sich die Mierendorffinselrunde an wie ein Wiedersehen mit einem alten Freund, der mich nie vergessen hatte. Am Wasser machte ich Atem- und Meditationsübungen, die Oberfläche spiegelglatt wie mein Geist. Dann färbte sich der Himmel golden, ein großartiger Sonnenaufgang über der Insel, der den Tag mit leiser Zuversicht bemalte und den ich euch natürlich mitgebracht habe. Ich beeilte mich nicht, sondern blieb einfach stehen und sog die Stille ein, bevor die Stadt erwachte.
