The air still felt sticky and stubborn, a heavy reminder of yesterday’s exhausting workday that left me skipping my usual morning walk. Yet I had already walked more than enough through the winding halls of the venue, every step echoing with anticipation. Preparations were finished for all stages today, ready for the show, and the small stage in Hangar 5 carried a surprisingly photogenic charm, like a hidden corner of an old postcard. Between tasks, I caught fleeting impressions of Tempelhof Airport itself, a place that blended history and hustle, its vast spaces whispering stories of arrivals and departures. It was not just work; it was a walk through time, where the past and present performed on the same stage.

Die Luft fühlte sich immer noch schwül und schwer an, eine bleibende Erinnerung an den anstrengenden Arbeitstag gestern, der mich meinen morgendlichen Spaziergang auslassen ließ. Doch ich war bereits genug durch die riesigen Hallen des Veranstaltungsortes gelaufen, jeder Schritt voller Erwartung. Die Vorbereitungen für alle Bühnen waren abgeschlossen und die kleine Bühne im Hangar 5 hatte einen erstaunlich fotogenen Charme, wie eine versteckte Ecke auf einer alten Postkarte. Zwischen den Aufgaben nahm ich Eindrücke vom Flughafen Tempelhof mit, einem Ort, der Geschichte und Geschäftigkeit verband, seine weiten Räume flüsterten von Ankünften und Abschieden. Es war nicht nur Arbeit, es war ein Gang durch die Zeit, bei dem Vergangenheit und Gegenwart dieselbe Bühne teilten.
