The sultry morning air clung to my skin, yet a cooling breeze carried me forward as I set out on the Luiseninsel loop through the palace gardens. I turned simple steps into interval walking, letting rhythm replace routine. Along the way, I paused by the queen’s decorated bust and peeked into the hollow tree stuffed with bright colors, like a secret chest of childhood treasures. On the island, I slowed down with breathing and meditation exercises by the water, watching ripples move like whispered thoughts. The rest of the day belonged to heavy work at Tempelhof Airport, where we built up a show set inside the vast hangar, the echo of hammers and voices filling the cavernous space. To lighten the load, I brought back picture puzzles of grazing Gotland sheep, their woolly coats blending into the grass like living riddles hidden in plain sight.

Der schwüle Morgen klebte an meiner Haut, doch ein kühlender Wind trug mich über die Luiseninselrunde im Schlosspark. Ich machte aus einfachen Schritten ein Intervall-Walking, bei dem Rhythmus Routine ersetzte. Unterwegs hielt ich an der geschmückten Büste der Königin inne und schaute in den hohlen Baum, der bunt gefüllt wie eine geheime Schatzkiste wirkte. Auf der Insel kam ich zur Ruhe, mit Atem- und Meditationsübungen am Wasser, wo sich Wellen wie geflüsterte Gedanken bewegten. Der Rest des Tages gehörte dem harten Aufbaujob im Hangar des Tempelhofer Flughafens, wo Hammerschläge und Stimmen den weiten Raum füllten. Zur Auflockerung brachte ich Suchbilder mit, auf denen Gotlandschafe beim Grasen fast wie Rätsel im Grün verschwanden.
