The morning carried a crisp bite, as if autumn had secretly stepped in before its time. A fine drizzle dampened the streets, and the later sunrise wrapped everything in a hushed, silver glow. I walked the familiar loop around Mierendorff Island, where I mixed in bursts of interval walking that made the routine feel alive instead of dull. By the water, I paused for breathing and meditation, letting the sound of rippling currents settle my restless thoughts. What stayed with me most was the scene above the great sluice gate: a sky painted in shifting moods, two very nice graffiti dragons crouched like silent guardians, and a willow whose branches bent with graceful defiance. None of it felt ordinary, and I carried those details home like treasures in my pocket and as photos for you to enjoy of course.

Der Morgen trug eine frische Schärfe, als hätte der Herbst heimlich seinen Platz eingenommen. Ein feiner Nieselregen legte sich über die Straßen, und der spätere Sonnenaufgang hüllte alles in ein gedämpftes, silbernes Licht. Ich ging die vertraute Runde um die Mierendorffinsel, baute kleine Intervalle ein und machte den Ablauf dadurch lebendig statt eintönig. Am Wasser hielt ich inne für Atem- und Meditationsübungen, während das Plätschern der Strömung meine Gedanken beruhigte. Am stärksten blieb mir das Bild über dem großen Schleusenwehr: ein Himmel voller Stimmungen, zwei Graffitidrachen wie stumme Wächter und eine Weide, deren Äste sich mit anmutiger Entschlossenheit neigten. Nichts daran wirkte gewöhnlich, und ich nahm diese Eindrücke wie kleine Schätze mit nach Hause und natürlich auch als fotos für euch zum geniessen.
