Wednesday ☀️ 5211

It started with a soggy sky and the kind of rain that drummed steady like a metronome. I only managed the short „Three Bridges Loop“, quick and quiet, since the downpour didn’t let up. Each interval walk felt like a workout in a steam room, no breeze, just thick air clinging to every breath. No sunshine, no sparkle, just a blanket of grey above. I skipped the breathwork and meditation. Instead, I made the most of being stuck inside later on. I wiped down the terrace, tackled dust in the corners, let the sound of rain do its rhythm thing while I cleaned. But I didn’t come back empty-handed. I spotted a quiet bloom outside, a lovely little white Rose Mallow flower holding its own in the storm. Even in the rainy mess, it stood out, calm, simple, real. I took a few photos to share it with you.

Es begann mit einem verregneten Himmel und Regen, der gleichmäßig wie ein Metronom fiel. Ich ging nur die kurze Drei-Brücken-Runde, schnell und still, weil der Regen einfach nicht aufhörte. Jedes Intervall fühlte sich an wie ein Training im Dampfbad, keine Brise, nur dicke, feuchte Luft. Keine Sonne, nur ein grauer Himmel, der schwer auf allem lag. Atemübungen oder Meditation ließ ich ausfallen. Stattdessen nutzte ich die Zeit drinnen: wischte die Terrasse, räumte die Wohnung auf, während draußen der Regen ununterbrochen trommelte. Aber ich kam nicht mit leeren Händen zurück. Draußen entdeckte ich eine stille Schönheit, eine hübsche weiße Roseneibischblüte, die dem Regen trotzte. Selbst im Regenchaos fiel sie auf, ruhig, schlicht, echt. Ich hab euch ein paar Fotos von ihr mitgebracht.
