The morning air clung like a cool kiss to my cheeks, thick with the smell of soil and stillness. It wasn’t just damp, it was drenched, the kind of wet that soaks into your bones. I had wandered the Schleusenland trail without rushing, letting the lush quiet wrap around me like an old friend’s hug. Blackberry bushes lined the path like little treasure troves, and I didn’t resist, the first sweet, sun-warmed berries made the perfect pre-breakfast snack. Down by the hidden brook in the back, I crouched low, breathing deep and letting the muddy scent ground me. I even took a moment to meditate, surrounded by nothing but rustling leaves and bubbling water. I didn’t want noise, I wanted nature. And I brought back something for you, those blackberry bushes, wild and full of promises.

An diesem feuchten Morgen klebte die Luft wie ein kühler Kuss auf meinen Wangen, schwer von erdiger Luft. Es war nicht nur feucht, es war durch und durch nass, die Art von Feuchtigkeit, die in die Knochen kriecht. Ich ließ mir Zeit auf der Schleusenlandrunde, ließ mich vom satten Schweigen tragen wie von einer alten Vertrauten. Entlang des Weges lockten Brombeersträucher wie kleine Schatztruhen, und ich griff zu, die ersten süßen, sonnenwarmen Beeren waren das perfekte Vorab-Frühstück. Hinten am versteckten Bach hockte ich mich hin, atmete tief und ließ den erdigen Duft mich erden. Ich wollte keine Worte, nur Wasser, Wind und Wald. Und ich hab euch was mitgebracht: diese wilden Brombeersträucher, wild und voller Versprechen.
