The morning whispered promises of peace. I stepped onto the path like a poet onto a blank page, no rush, no rhythm but my own. After three days of dodging time and skipping steps, I returned to my Saturday ritual on the Mierendorffinsel loop. I walked in intervals, not chasing pace but courting presence. At the familiar spots by the water, I stood still, breathed deep, and let the quiet wrap around me like a soft sweater. The world didn’t hurry me, and I didn’t hurry back. Later, I picked up groceries for the days ahead, basket full and heart light. Somewhere on the way as I turned a corner, a flash of fur in the bushes, Friend Fox watched me with curious calm. I paused. He stayed. And now, here he is, brought back to you in story, just as he brought me back to stillness.

Der Morgen flüsterte Frieden. Ich trat auf den Weg wie ein Dichter aufs leere Blatt, kein Druck, kein Takt außer meinem eigenen. Nach drei Tagen ohne richtige Zeit für meinen Morningwalk kehrte ich zu meinem Samstagsritual auf der Mierendorffinsel zurück. Ich ging in Intervallen, nicht dem Tempo hinterher, sondern dem Moment entgegen. An den vertrauten Stellen am Wasser stand ich still, atmete tief und ließ die Stille sich wie ein weicher Pullover um mich legen. Die Welt drängte nicht, und ich ließ mich treiben. Danach kaufte ich Lebensmittel für die kommenden Tage, der Korb voll, das Herz leicht. Irgendwo unterwegs als ich um eine Ecke bog, blitzte es im Gebüsch, Freund Fuchs beobachtete mich mit ruhiger Neugier. Ich hielt inne. Er blieb. Und jetzt ist er hier, mitgebracht für euch, so wie er mich zurück zur Ruhe brachte.
