Sunday ☀️ 12777

The day had started like a soft song, a slightly breezy but already very warm morning wrapped Berlin in summer shimmer. I took my time before todays show job and pedaled out for my Sunday bike tour to Volkspark Jungfernheide for my morning walk. On the island by the water, I settled into breathwork and meditation, letting the rustling leaves and distant splashes of a dog on the other shore lull me into calm. The usual furry and feathered friends were few and far between, maybe hiding from the heat that had already begun to build. Still, the stillness had its own story. I brought something back for you, fitting for a Sunday: a beautiful rose, one of those striking blooms I captured recently in Schleusenland. Its color caught the sun just right, like a silent fire. Some beauty doesn’t shout. It just stays with you.

Der Tag hatte begonnen wie ein sanftes Lied, ein leicht windiger, aber bereits sehr warmer Morgen hüllte Berlin in sommerlichen Glanz. Ich nahm mir vor dem Showjob heute Zeit und radelte zu meiner sonntäglichen Radtour in den Volkspark Jungfernheide, um meinen Morningwalk zu machen. Auf der Insel am Wasser ließ ich mich in Atemarbeit und Meditation nieder und ließ mich vom Rascheln der Blätter und dem entfernten Plätschern eines Hundes am anderen Ufer in die Ruhe einlullen. Die üblichen pelzigen und gefiederten Freunde waren nur vereinzelt zu sehen, vielleicht versteckten sie sich vor der Hitze, die bereits begonnen hatte, sich aufzubauen. Doch die Stille hatte ihre eigene Geschichte. Ich habe etwas für euch mitgebracht, das zu einem Sonntag passt: eine wunderschöne Rose, eine dieser grossartigen Blüten, die ich kürzlich im Schleusenland fotografiert habe. Ihre Farbe fängt die Sonne genau richtig ein, wie ein stilles Feuer. Es gibt Schönheit, die nicht schreit. Sie bleibt einfach bei dir.
