Canada Geese Family Morning Rituals - My Actifit Report Card: June 10th, 2025

A fresh, but not cold, cloudy morning lay like a veil over the palace gardens. I set off and enjoyed the wonderful air and the intense scent of the forest. I walked around the carp pond and added a few extra steps to the Luiseninsel route. I paused at the water's edge, did breathing exercises and slipped into a silent meditation. Just me and the gentle whisper of the trees. On the way to the palace gardens, I had already encountered a family of Canada geese, completely absorbed in their morning routine, their heads nodding in time as if they were practising an ancient dance. Later, I came across the Gotland sheep and watched them ruminate for a while, chewing slowly and deliberately, as if each mouthful told a little story. I took the time to capture these moments so that I could share them with you.
Ein frischer, aber nicht kalter, wolkenverhangener Morgen legte sich wie ein Schleier über den Schlosspark. Ich ging los und genoss dort die großartige Luft und den intensiven Waldduft. Um den Karpfenteich lief ich herum und verlängerte die Luiseninselrunde um ein paar zusätzliche Schritte. Am Wasser hielt ich inne, machte Atemübungen und glitt in eine stille Meditation. Nur ich und das leise Flüstern der Bäume. Schon auf dem Weg zum Schlosspark war mir eine Familie Kanadagänse begegnet, ganz in ihrer Morgenroutine vertieft, ihre Köpfe wie im Takt nickend, als übten sie einen alten Tanz. Später traf ich auf die Gotlandschafe und schaute ihnen eine Weile beim Wiederkäuen zu, wie sie langsam und bedacht kauten, als erzähle jeder Bissen eine kleine Geschichte. Ich nahm mir die Zeit um diese Momente festzuhalten damit ich sie euch mitbringen kann.
