Sunday ☀️ 10743

A chilly morning teased the start of the day, clouds creeping in like quiet conspirators. Still, I saddled up, braving the breeze on my bike toward Volkspark Jungfernheide. The path wound wide and welcoming, a soft escape from the city's stone view. On the island, I paused. Breathwork, mindful moments, and meditation melted into the rhythm of rippling reflections while a coot was diving for it’s breakfast. A grey heron, tall and still as a statue, appeared like a secret shared only with me. I captured it, not with harm, but with a click, and brought it back for you. Rain rolled in just as I returned, perfectly timed like the final line in a good song. The rest of the day was soaked and slow, ideal for thick, juicy burgers and bold films on the home theater screen.

Ein kühler Morgen kündigte den Tag an, mit Wolken, die sich wie leise Verschwörer heranschlichen. Trotzdem schwang ich mich mutig aufs Rad und fuhr zum Volkspark Jungfernheide. Der Weg war wohltuend, eine sanfte Flucht aus dem steinernen Anblick der Stadt. Auf der kleinen Insel am Wasser hielt ich inne. Atemübungen, Achtsamkeit und Meditation verschmolzen mit dem Rhythmus der sanften Wellen, während ein Blässhuhn nach seinem Frühstück tauchte. Ein Graureiher, hoch und reglos wie eine Statue, tauchte auf, ein stilles Geheimnis, das nur mir gehörte. Ich habe ihn eingefangen, nicht mit Gewalt, sondern mit einem Klick und für euch mitgebracht. Kaum zurück, begann der Regen, perfekt getimt wie die letzte Zeile eines guten Lieds. Der Rest des Tages war verregnet und ruhig, perfekt für deftige Burger und starke Filme im Heimkino.
