Description from Strava: The morning felt like walking through a steaming greenhouse, the air thick and sticky after another night of relentless rain. The rather short peninsula route turned into a slow shuffle, where interval walking felt less like training and more like trudging through soup. With humidity at one hundred percent, I refused to push too hard and instead allowed myself longer pauses. I practiced breathing and meditation by the river, where the silence pressed closer because the wind stayed away. Birds circled above, even the grey herons remained in the air instead of stalking the shore. It was a demanding walk, but I still carried back something bright for you: a handful of golden mullein flowers from one of my secret magic places.
