My Journey into Face Modeling: From Childhood Play to Professional Passion
Being a face model is something I love from my days as a child. As a child, I would take powder from my mum's makeup box, and would put it on my face. My mum would come into her room, see my face and would laugh hysterically and would clean my face up.
As I grow, I began to understand that the first thing a person sees even before seeing your dressing is your face. You see, every Billboard use two things, the face and the hand. For every advert, the face is properly taken care off both by makeup artists and filters so I began to grow my passion to care for my face just as I care for my body.
In university, I did a lot of free face modeling for people's new business. These people were starting entrepreneurs who were growing small businesses and wanted to grow their businesses. I was able to do lots of face models and I always enjoy doing it.
On the day I took these pictures, I got a DM on Instagram from a lady who was a makeup artist. She wanted someone who was going to be a face model for an advert as she was rebranding and wanted an ebony with a clean face and I was the perfect candidate.
From childhood play with my mom's makeup to becoming a sought-after face model for a makeup artist's rebranding campaign, my journey into face modeling has been a fulfilling exploration of passion and opportunity. The realization that the face is a powerful canvas for expression and advertisement has fueled my commitment to maintaining and presenting a clean, well-cared-for face.
