HOW I MADE A BEAUTIFUL KAFTAN ADDING SIMPLE COMPUTER EMBROIDERY

I'm here again to share with you my latest creative design. It's a traditional wear commonly wear in the Western part of Nigeria, we call it kaftan.

I made this in a special way, adding a little sauce to it and that is adding computer embroidery design as the collar and pocket.

Will be taking you through the process of how I got it done as usual.

MATERIALS USED

  • Cashmere 7 star
  • Paper stay
  • Collar stay
  • Thread

CUTTING AND SEWING PROCESS

I started my sewing, joining the shoulders together, taping the neck and ironing rigorously.

Then I fixed the collar and pocket before proceeding to fixing of the sleeves

I fixed the sleeve curve and I did the cufflinks holes and also added buttons.

The embroidery you did is very attractive and the choice of thread too matters ooo and the choice of thread you use is very beautiful and the it has given the cloth a much better look, you so pipe the neck of your cloth first before you do the flap?
Well mine Piping last thing I do but it’s same thing Sha and I like your pattern tho

Thanks bro, I did the piping before the flap, and I mostly do that except some designs that warrant fixing the flap first. Once again I appreciate your comment
