The Beautiful Sunday - What Something Special Today?

Time flies so fast and it had been two years ago that I spent vacation to my country and I won't forget the death anniversary of my best friend for 17 years, no other than Anita Labasano of Iligan City. She was spending her vacation ahead of me and was planning a met up because she was sicked but as I touched down the airport last May 19 2022, her family messaged me that she was already dead 5 minutes after my arrival. That was a sad memories that I couldn't forget. After one month in my vacation, my father died too. I lost 2 important people in my life that year. Anita was my best friend whom I can cry on.

What a coincidence for my friends who will spend their vacation today. We had a despededa party last night. Their flight will be this 12noon from Jizan to Riyadh King Abdulaziz International Airport direct to Manila, Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

I was too sleepy last night but I paid respect for my newbies friends who finished their contract but they listened my advise. They will be back after 3months. Instead of thinking for the bad memories, I should focus to see and be an inspiration to all new fellow #ofw who are working here now. There's a lot of issues and I tried my best to give them ideas and advises.

They arrived together in my lady boss sister and niece employers.

Joy hired her sister Rena to work here to the brother of her lady boss. They are emotional because Rena is still under contract and cannot go with her sister for vacation.

Some of our friends arrived who just working near in our house. But others didn't come because today is school days.

There was a lot of funny jokes around the girls but I was not feeling good as they were. But I was happy that once again we met and made last night a memorable day for us.

Wishing them happy trip and I lead the prayer for the foods which we received from thy Bounty of God and gift from their employers. We are the family here together in the absence of our real family back home.

This morning, I am emotional because Joy told me that she and her sister Rena loves me so much since they have no mother for 28 years. Their parent were being shot to death by the drunk brother-in-law when Joy was only 4 years old. I just wandered why she always kissed and hugged me tight everytime we met. And only this morning I know the story and how she asked me to be like a mother of both her sister. She said farewell and I wish them happy vacation.
