Beautiful Sunday - Picking Up My Medicine

I have maintenance for hypertension and thanks God the medicine for my sugar is being cut off. It means, I maintain the normal way. Let see for the next month after my next laboratory test.

Today is Sunday and there's a letter informing me that I need to pick my medicine. There's no need to go to the hospital. They regularly sent it in Wasfaty, a government way to message us about medication for free.

Since my boss are sleeping and it's too very hot summer we have now, I can't walk like before. I'm grateful that God provided me an old man, a father figure whom I can trust wherever I need driver. I can't trust anyone riding a car with a stranger.

This is my old man father figure driver."He is a Yemeni from neighboring country of Saudi Arabia. It's the nearest country of Saudi Arabia and could be reach by walking in the mountain. They have the mountain as the border line between the two countries and also an Arab country. Many Yemeni lives here and was already born in this place like the man in the picture. His parent lived Saudi before he was born.

When I got home, I visitedy garden and the taro I just planted outside the house. It's so hot so I watered it. The moringa I also trimmed it last day. I saw yellow birds building their nest. And tiny birds also chirping up in the date tree. It made my day better.

Actially, I'm thinking abouty sister in the hospital until now. She was sickly since then. Now she's, 44 years old and struggling health issues but so proud of her, she fought to live for my son. So pitiful.

I hope God will heal her pain. 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️. My son is watching him now in the hospital.

This is my beautiful Sunday update for @ace108

Thank you so much

Love,

@olivia08

That's great that you have a driver you can trust. These days, it's becoming increasingly difficult to be sure about our safety, so having someone reliable is definitely a big advantage.

I read somewhere that one way to help prevent blood sugar levels from rising too much after a meal is to avoid sitting down immediately. Instead, it's recommended to take a slow walk for about 10 minutes after eating.

It's fascinating how a simple routine like picking up medication highlights the strong community bonds we form when living abroad. Finding a trusted father figure in your Yemeni driver shows how genuine human connection transcends borders, offering safety and comfort when we are far from our homeland.
