In one day walking in three different cities... #TheLongestTrip // I'm at this moment

A few days ago we returned to Turkey and I will finally have a little rest from very active moving and changing cities :)
My previous post was about a walk along the Acheron River near the ancient city of Parga
in Greece.
And so, after a seven-hour bus ride, we arrived in Athens, from where we were supposed to fly to the island of Chios. And on the same day, we were to take a ferry from Chios to Cesme, Turkey.

That's why we walked in three different cities that day. It was not a pleasant walk in Athens, because there were heavy backpacks behind :)
The flight lasted only 50 minutes. And we successfully landed in the city of Chios.
We were returning the same way as three months ago.
I wrote articles about the island of Chios, where we were for a week in June. Enjoyed a walk along the embankment.

Later, we ate well and boarded the ferry at 6 p.m. It took only 30 minutes to drive across the sea, which separates two countries: Turkey and Greece.
My Victoria was very afraid to sail on the ferry, because she is sick! I took a pill and fell asleep :) Thank God, she felt fine.
And now we saw the beautiful ancient city of Cesme on the horizon! We spent one unforgettable day here in June when we were supposed to go to Greece...

We lived in Europe for three months and now we had the right to come to Turkey again: 90 days in half a year. When we went ashore, it was a warm September evening. The air smelled of pine trees.
We were happy! We can stay here longer. Life in Turkey is still at least three times cheaper than in Europe. Need to find time to write more posts about our travels :)
We settled in a cozy apartment hotel in the old part of the city. I really like to walk among ancient architecture. Silence and the spirit of antiquity have a positive effect on me.

And in the morning after our coffee on the French balcony, we went for a walk with Darinka. There is a beautiful castle here, which I will definitely visit. And nearby is the embankment, where there are many cozy cafes. The color of the water in the Aegean Sea is bright blue. The water is warmest in September. But it's windy.

The sea in Cesme is shallow, even if you walk a long way from the shore. We swam from a ladder where people also sit and fish.

And then we walked for a long time on the main street, where there are bright souvenirs, clothes and many cafes with desserts and ice cream everywhere.

Thank you for the #wednesdaywalk challenge, initiated by @tattoodjay :)

Is that your daughter? She looks like Karolina Protsenko..
Europe is a dream country to visit as well as Greece but I agree that cost of living is really high...
Enjoy your stay in Turkey.

Welcome back :)

Life in Turkey is still at least three times cheaper than in Europe

Indeed, however not cheap for us. I think to go to abroad again next year, bit I don't know how to afford with this currency rates.

What's your plan from now on? Staying in Turkiye in winter?

By the way, I thanked you in my last post ;)
