McMenamins Grand Lodge
This was my second stay at McMenamins Grand Lodge in Forest Grove, Oregon. All of their establishments have a unique and eclectic feel to them and the Grand Lodge is no different. They have a talent for giving old buildings new life as hotels, restaurants, bars, breweries, wineries and concert venues. From the gardens to the various artworks that decorate the interior and grounds you will always find something interesting to view. Join me as I take you on a visual tour.

One of three giant trees outside of our room.
As I said, bars and restaurants. Here we are enjoying a beverage before the meal and taking in the view through the vine leaves.
Here is the Grand Lodge's concert venue.
Some of the amazing landscaping.
Another unique looking tree on the heavily treed grounds.
An interesting clump of berries.
One area of the grounds was very attractive to the bees.
I'm not sure what these plants are but as these pictures show they were very popular with the Hive. 😀
A splash of color against a muted green background.
A very vibrant and colorful flower.
Not all the plants are just for show. Some are picked fresh to use in the meals prepared at the restaurants in the hotel.
With bee...
And without. 😉
A lone passion flower.
Some of the outdoor artwork.
Another color splash, this time against a brown background.
Some grapes for the winery, perhaps?
And as we head inside for a quick look around. A last glimpse of what was once a very full and virant flower holding on to its glory until the end of the season.
Stone, tiles and painted art in these alcoves greet you as you enter the hotel through the main entrance.
In the basement there is more of this type of artwork adorning 50 some columns. Will need more time to document them all. lol.
Album covers decorate the ceiling of this part tucked away on a corner of the property.
And to close out this little tour some shots of the third floor hallways.

I love the interior design. And those flowers are beautiful.
I particularly fancy that chair, the color and everything just looks perfect.

They do an amazing job of decorating and landscaping not to mention the artwork. I never get tired of roaming around one of their establishments and seeing the sights. :)
I can tell just by looking at those images. I don’t think I’d get tired easily too trying to take pictures of everything there, hehe.

So many photos, each one more beautiful than the last. Thanks for sharing, friend.
You are welcome! It was my pleasure. :)
I enjoyed seeing your photo tour! The Grand Lodge seems a place where history and creativity come together beautifully, every corner of it feels unique.
You captured what they do very well with that statement. A stay at one of their establishments is always great for learning and expanding your mind. :)
